My Day at YUST

I am a student of the German Department at YUST. I am busy everyday.

Every morning I get up at 6:30. After washing, I go to the cafeteria to have breakfast with my friends at about 7:00. It costs me 3 Yuan. Usually our breakfast is good. After breakfast, I go to the classroom and have a talk with my friends or learn some vocabulary. At 8:00, our class begins. Every morning there are 4 classes of 50 minutes. I do not have lunch until 12:00. For me lunch is always so delicious- maybe because I have studied for 4 hours. I am hungry.

I do not have enough time to sleep after lunch, because I have class at 1:00. But sometimes I go back to my dormitory and sleep for 20 minutes. Although I can hardly sleep well in such a short time, I still feel much better than if I don't sleep. I have more energy. If I do not sleep, I will talk with my friends. We talk many different things. It makes me relax.

At 1:00 we begin to have class. I have four-hour afternoon lessons everyday except Monday and Friday. So almost everyday I have 8-hour lessons, just like a normal worker. As a student, besides the lessons in the daytime, I also need to study in the evening. I usually do not go to the cafeteria to have supper. I go to the supermarket to buy some fruit for my supper. I pay about 2 Yuan.

At night I often begin to study at 6:30. From 5:00 to 6:30 I stay in bed and read some stories. I learn much from them.

Between 6:30 and 10:30 I study at my dormitory. Certainly it is impossible for me to study the whole time. Between times I have a rest, drink some water, talk with my roommates. At 10:30 I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I will do something that is relaxing for me, like writing a diary, listening to some music or reading.

At 11:30 I go to bed with the light of my room going out. It is easy for me to fall asleep.

This is a day of my life. A busy but happy day!
